I bet you are dying to know the origins of RockLobstahTCG. If not well I am writing about it anyway just to go into detail about what went into the making of RockLobstahTCG. First, I am from a small town in Maine which has always been a crucial part of my personal identity. I may have moved there when I was 10, and then moved away for college, but the state holds a special place in my heart. I fully intend to move back some day, but until I can do that I will have to be content with yearly visits to Vacationland. Funny thing is that I never did develop the accent, and I am also allergic to lobster so other factors went into the name and mascot?
Well, one day my son and I were playing Pokémon Shield and attempting a Bug Type Nuzlocke ( see link below for Nuzlocke information ) and we happened upon two Pokémon of interest. One being a Grubbin that was named Munch Munch and the other being Anorith in the post game that I named RockLobstah because of its slight resemblance to a lobster and being a rock type ( I know, its technically a shrimp but one can dream right? ). Both of these Pokémon brought us so much laughter and joy playing the game that I wanted to do something to immortalize this memory. Pokémon was such a big hobby of mine when I was his age, and my son has taken such a big interest in it that my interest in the games and cards was reignited. I have met and collaborated with so many people because of the moments I have spent with him.
So even though I can't eat lobster without turning into a balloon, I will continue to put everything I have during my free time into RockLobstahTCG
